Legal Assistant- Foreclosure

Brock & Scott is hiring a full-time Legal Assistant – Foreclosure to join its Cincinnati, Hamilton County office and support a fast-paced foreclosure practice alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals.

About the Role

As a Legal Assistant on the Foreclosure team, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day workflow of the firm — keeping cases moving, keeping the office organized, and ensuring every matter stays in step with both client expectations and applicable legal requirements. This is an in-office position based in Cincinnati, OH.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate directly with attorneys and paralegals to manage active foreclosure files from initiation through resolution
• Draft, proofread, and file legal documents including notices, motions, and correspondence in accordance with court and client requirements
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records in the firm's case management system
• Track deadlines, court dates, and regulatory timelines to keep matters in compliance
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and government agencies on routine case matters
• Perform general administrative duties including calendaring, document scanning, and file organization to support the legal team's efficiency
• Assist with quality control to ensure all outgoing work meets the firm's standards and client guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a legal support role — foreclosure, real estate, or creditors' rights background is a strong plus
• Familiarity with legal document preparation and court filing procedures
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously under firm deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for client and court correspondence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning case management software
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in a compliance-driven environment
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work closely with attorneys and paralegals on shared caseloads
