About the Role

As a Leasing Agent specializing in affordable housing, you will serve as the welcoming face of our residential communities in Montgomery, Somerset County. This on-site, full-time position blends customer service, leasing administration, and community engagement, ensuring prospective and current residents experience a smooth, supportive housing journey from first inquiry through move-in and lease renewal.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, conducting property tours and explaining lease terms clearly and warmly.
• Process rental applications, verify eligibility, and maintain documentation in line with affordable housing program requirements.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and respond promptly to questions, concerns, and service requests.
• Keep accurate leasing records, waitlists, and occupancy reports up to date.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to keep apartment homes ready and appealing for new residents.
• Support resident retention through attentive communication and timely lease renewals.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
• Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Reliable and able to work on-site in Montgomery, Somerset County, in a full-time capacity.
