As a Lease Purchase Truck Driver with WEL Companies, you'll gain the independence of owning your own business while retaining the backing of an established carrier. Our lease program is designed for drivers who want autonomy without sacrificing operational support. We specialize in no-touch freight services, meaning less manual labor and more time focused on safe, efficient driving. You'll receive cash settlement on all dispatched miles at the conclusion of each lease cycle, providing predictable income streams tied directly to your driving activity.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial truck throughout regional routes, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance
- Transport no-touch freight, ensuring proper cargo security and timely delivery
- Manage your business operations, including route planning, fuel efficiency, and vehicle maintenance scheduling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispatch and carrier management teams
- Track and reconcile miles driven to receive accurate cash settlements
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation per DOT regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience as a professional truck driver
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Self-motivated, independent operator mindset with business acumen
