About the Role
As Lead Sous Chef at Life Enriching Communities, you'll help guide daily kitchen operations at our Twin Towers community in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time, on-site position runs a 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM shift, with flexibility to step in and cover additional open shifts when the kitchen needs you. It's a hands-on culinary leadership role for someone who takes pride in serving exceptional food to residents and associates alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the head of the kitchen in directing day-to-day food preparation and service.
- Prepare and plate high-quality meals that elevate the everyday dining experience for residents.
- Mentor and coordinate kitchen team members to keep service running smoothly.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards throughout every shift.
- Remain available to cover other open shifts as operational needs arise.
Qualifications
- Proven culinary experience, ideally in a sous chef or comparable kitchen leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, plating, and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
- Dependability and a willingness to flex across shifts as needed.
- Availability to work the full-time 12:00 PM–8:00 PM schedule on-site in Cincinnati, OH.
