MFA’s mission is to safeguard and advance Singapore’s interests through the effective formulation and implementation of foreign policies that uphold sovereignty, promote regional peace, and sustain Singapore’s relevance on the world stage.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead Product Manager to lead our product team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of MFA product portfolio. The Lead Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and deliver good value to our users.

What you will be working on

• Set product strategy and OKRs aligned to MFA and sector outcomes; translate needs into a sequenced and measurable roadmap.
• Own backlog prioritisation across domains; make and communicate clear trade-offs with documented rationale.
• Lead and mentor Product Mangers; set standards for discovery, products, experimentation, and product quality.
• Delivery Partnership: Partner Business/Engineering/Design to deliver iteratively; manage dependencies; and collaborate closely.
• Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
• Act as the voice of the user within the organization. Ensure that user needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development.
• Drive Adoption & Change including rollout readiness (training, comms, support, feedback loops) and improve adoption across directorates and overseas missions.
• Metrics, Risk & Governance: Ensure instrumentation and dashboards for adoption/efficiency/quality; proactively manage risks (privacy/security, data quality, operational readiness).

What We Are Looking For

• More than 8 years of relevant experience as a Senior Product Manager or Senior Programme Manager.
• Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking for product implementation and growth.
• You possess strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor product teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential, particularly with application in discovery sessions and prototyping. You have strong analytical, conceptualisation, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with good stakeholder engagement abilities and the capacity to influence and pitch ideas effectively. You should be comfortable navigating complex organisational structures and working with diverse stakeholders including tripartite partners.
• Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools is expected. You should have working knowledge of AI tools and concepts, and familiarity with modern technology trends and their application in government services.
• You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a driven and motivated personality. The ability to rapidly learn, apply, and execute is crucial for success in this role.
