Position Summary

KBR is currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Process Safety Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry to join our team in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide). This role will be pivotal in leading safety design activities for offshore FPSOs and platforms, as well as onshore facilities. You will develop comprehensive safety philosophies, conduct detailed risk analyses, and coordinate cross-disciplinary safety studies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety philosophies for project execution
• Conduct thorough risk analyses and manage risk mitigation strategies
• Lead the design of fire protection systems, ensuring they meet industry best practices
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated safety solutions
• Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide technical guidance and support for project safety management activities

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas process safety, with a focus on offshore FPSOs and platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis techniques such as HAZOP, LOPA, and QRA
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems design principles and practices
• Experience in leading cross-disciplinary teams and managing safety studies
• Proficiency with relevant software tools for process safety management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
