About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant for Yellowstone General Stores, you will play a vital part in upholding the cleanliness and hygiene standards that protect the health and safety of every guest. Working alongside a close-knit team in Mammoth Hot Springs, you will keep kitchen areas, cookware, and food and beverage service equipment spotless so that culinary operations stay efficient, safe, and welcoming throughout the season. This is a full-time, on-site position in the heart of Yellowstone National Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and food and beverage serving equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen environment in line with strict food-safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support cooks and front-of-house staff by ensuring clean supplies are always available.
- Dispose of waste properly and help keep work and storage areas tidy.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications
- A commitment to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest health and safety.
- Ability to work as a dependable, cooperative member of a busy kitchen team.
- Comfort performing physically active, hands-on work in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Mammoth Hot Springs, Park County.
