🔑 Your Mission: Creating the Magic & Leading the Team
As a Key Holder, you are the heartbeat of the store, overseeing both the magical customer experience and daily operational excellence.
Experience Creator
- The Ultimate Host: Greet every family with a custom, high-energy welcome—your signature “magic door entrance” schtick is a must!
- Playtime Pro: Actively play, interact, and demo products with families, turning browsing into a joyful, interactive journey.
- Personal Shopper: Engage families in authentic conversations to understand their interests and needs. Curate personalized shopping experiences that drive sales and ensure they go home with the perfect items.
- Program Leader: Run engaging family activities, including craft sessions, story time, and one-on-one help, managing all setup and cleanup.
Operational Leader
- Store Ownership: Master full store operations, including the retail floor, cafe, back-of-house, and opening/closing procedures.
- Team Mentor: Model and coach exceptional customer service to the team, driving daily priorities and ensuring high morale across your shift.
- Incident Responder: Confidently resolve in-store situations, such as difficult customers, employee issues, or theft, knowing when to escalate complex matters to the General Manager (GM).
- Business Driver: Directly support the leadership team in achieving business goals (KPIs), communicating store focus areas and needs.

✅ What We Need from You
- Availability: Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US. Requires 15-25 hours per week, including at least one weekend day (ideally both).
- Background: Prior professional experience in retail, childcare, education, or performing arts.
- The Attitude: Genuine enthusiasm, excitement, patience, warmth, joy, and humor when engaging with children and families.
- Team Fit: A desire to transform retail alongside a tight-knit, mission-driven team.
- Bonus Points: Hidden talents that can add a magical touch to our floor are a huge plus!
Compensation: $18.00/hour
💪 A Note on Physical Demands
This role requires a lot of movement and energy! You must be able to:
- Be on your feet and move continuously for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Safely lift and carry up to 45 pounds and climb ladders for stocking and merchandising.
- Regularly bend, kneel, squat, and reach to engage with children and manage inventory.
