Based in Columbus, Franklin County, this position offers skilled tradspeople the opportunity to contribute expertise across diverse projects throughout the United States, with travel to job sites as assigned.

This full-time Journeyman Carpenter position with Lane Valente Industries puts your expertise to work on high-impact commercial construction and maintenance initiatives. You'll work on varied project types across the country while maintaining your home base in the Columbus area, expanding your experience with different clients, building types, and construction challenges.

What You'll Do

• Perform precision carpentry including metal and wood stud partition framing for commercial buildings and spaces
• Install cabinetry and countertops to specification and applicable building codes
• Install and fit doors and window systems with proper weatherproofing and finish work
• Execute interior and exterior painting to professional quality standards
• Install flooring materials and prepare surfaces according to project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately
• Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
• Travel to assigned job locations as required for project work

What We're Looking For

• Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent demonstrated mastery of commercial carpentry
• Solid experience in framing, cabinetry installation, and precision finishing work
• Competency with interior and exterior painting materials and techniques
• Knowledge of flooring installation and surface preparation
• Ability and willingness to travel across the United States for project assignments
• Strong professionalism, reliability, and safety awareness on job sites
• Clear communication and ability to work effectively within construction teams
