What This Role Involves

Mosaic is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to join our team. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and live meaningful lives within caring communities. As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for facilitating employment opportunities, providing training and support in the workplace, and advocating for the rights of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to secure and maintain employment
• Provide job readiness training and ongoing support in various work environments
• Facilitate communication between employers, employees, and the Mosaic team
• Develop and implement individualized job plans that align with personal goals
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employment of individuals with disabilities

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Passion for empowering others and fostering independence
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification in job coaching or related field (preferred)
