What This Role Involves

The role of a Janitor involves ensuring that multi-storey blocks and surrounding areas are clean, secure, and welcoming for residents. You will be responsible for performing both office-based duties and hands-on estate management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all common areas, including hallways, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Ensure that waste is disposed of appropriately and bins are emptied regularly.
• Carry out general maintenance duties to keep the premises in good condition.
• Respond to any issues or concerns raised by residents promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Available to start as soon as possible (ASAP).
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
