IT Director

Samaritan Healthcare seeks an experienced IT Director to lead our technology operations and digital infrastructure across our Grant County healthcare network in Raugust. In this full-time leadership role, you'll champion innovative technology solutions that align with our mission to serve our community with excellence and compassion.

About the Role

As IT Director at Samaritan Healthcare, you'll oversee all aspects of our information technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll manage our IT team and ensure that technology systems reliably support clinical and administrative operations across our organization. This position is fundamental to advancing our vision as the trusted regional healthcare partner.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and our commitment to healthcare innovation
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT department that embodies our values of respect, excellence, and continuous improvement
• Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, telecommunications, and clinical systems such as electronic health records (EHR) platforms
• Ensure robust information security, system reliability, and full compliance with HIPAA and relevant healthcare regulations
• Oversee IT budgets, capital planning, and vendor partnerships to optimize cost and performance
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency and patient care
• Partner with clinical and business leaders to translate technology needs into effective solutions

What We're Looking For

• Significant IT leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a director-level or equivalent role
• Deep knowledge of healthcare IT systems, EHR platforms, and HIPAA compliance
• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, network security, systems administration, and IT operations
• Strong track record managing IT budgets and leading technology initiatives from planning through implementation
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Relevant IT certifications preferred
