About the Role
The Interior Design Technician position is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the Studio Manager. You'll be instrumental in supporting the interior design team through technical development, documentation, and project coordination, working on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from single-family residential to commercial and healthcare environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain technical interior design drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and related design tools
- Prepare material schedules, finish selections, and construction specifications for interior construction
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is realized during construction
- Assist with project layouts, spatial planning, and interior detailing across diverse project types
- Support the design team with research, documentation, and project administration
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and design guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Technical proficiency in CAD software and interior design documentation
- Understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, and building systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with design and construction teams

- Experience or education in interior design, architecture, or a related field
