Join Lilly as an Instrumentation/Medium Voltage Electrician in our West Indianapolis facility, where you'll play a critical role maintaining the electrical systems that power our life-changing pharmaceutical operations. This is a full-time position for an experienced electrician ready to advance your career with a global healthcare leader.
About the Role
This position supports the electrical infrastructure that keeps Lilly's manufacturing and research operations running safely and efficiently. You'll combine hands-on electrical expertise with instrumentation knowledge to ensure our medium voltage systems, control equipment, and specialized facility infrastructure operate at peak performance. Working in a complex healthcare manufacturing environment, you'll contribute directly to our mission of bringing medicines to patients around the world.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medium voltage electrical systems and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic work on instrumentation and control systems
- Execute electrical installations in compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards
- Respond to equipment failures and work collaboratively to minimize facility downtime
- Test and commission electrical equipment and instrumentation systems
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications
- Work safely with high-voltage systems and follow all electrical safety protocols
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Valid electrician license or certification (journeyman or master level preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with medium voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
