About the Role

As an Information Research Specialist 2, you'll be instrumental in managing collection logistics, indexing systems, and inventory operations that support advanced research activities. Working within the Q-20-PO group, you'll take on progressively independent responsibilities to maintain, organize, and optimize information systems that underpin laboratory operations.

What You'll Do

• Execute collection logistics tasks, including receipt, handling, and distribution of research materials and information resources
• Develop and maintain indexing systems to ensure efficient organization, categorization, and retrieval of critical data and documents
• Manage inventory tracking and reconciliation, maintaining accurate records and documentation of information assets
• Support database and information management systems, including data entry, verification, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with research teams and other specialists to understand information needs and improve workflow processes
• Perform routine analysis and reporting on collection status, inventory levels, and project progress

• Demonstrated experience with information management, research support, or related technical roles
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with databases, spreadsheet applications, and document management systems
