About the Role
As an Industrial Welder on the 1st or 2nd Shift, you will join the production floor at Industrial Magnetics in Boyne City, Charlevoix County, where your craftsmanship directly shapes our finished products. This hands-on position blends welding, assembly, and fabrication work, giving you the chance to see a job through from raw material to completed component.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out welding tasks during the manufacturing of finished goods, sub-assemblies, and individual components.
- Fabricate parts and assemblies to specification while following assigned schedules and priorities.
- Produce clean, accurate, professional-quality welds using both TIG and MIG techniques.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to meet quality standards.
- Complete assembly assignments that support overall production goals.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding and a track record of high-quality results.
- Confident, proficient use of welding tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, accurate workmanship.
- Reliability and flexibility to work either the 1st or 2nd Shift on a full-time basis.
