About the Role
As an In Home Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll provide essential personal care and support to clients in their homes. You'll work part-time hours with a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. Our caregivers are the foundation of our mission—helping individuals maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed
- Administer reminders for medications and appointments
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe living environment
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
- Monitor client well-being and report changes to supervisors
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with the care team
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to provide hands-on care and assistance
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Background check clearance
- Genuine passion for helping others
