About the Role
As an HVAC-R Technician with Marriott Hotels Resorts in Highland Park, Dallas, you'll be the go-to specialist for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across the property. Working largely on your own initiative, you'll respond quickly to guest service calls and ensure every repair is handled professionally with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and address guest repair and maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance concerns directly with guests, working independently with little oversight.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including routine cleaning and lubrication.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, machinery, and equipment to catch issues early.
- Transport necessary gear such as hand tools and a two-way radio while on duty.
- Locate and operate shut-off valves and related controls as needed during repairs.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience servicing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound repair decisions with minimal direction.
- Strong communication skills for interacting directly with guests and customers.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including carrying tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail when inspecting and maintaining equipment.
- Available to work full-time on-site in Highland Park, Dallas.
