About the Role

As an HVAC Controls - Building Systems Analyst II based in Tempe, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune building automation and HVAC control systems to keep facilities running reliably and efficiently. Working alongside engineering and operations teams, you will translate system data into actionable improvements that reduce energy waste and enhance occupant comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance of HVAC and building automation systems to identify faults, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Configure, calibrate, and adjust building control sequences and setpoints to meet operational and energy goals.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with controls hardware, sensors, and networked building systems.
• Document system conditions, interpret trend data, and prepare clear reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and clients to implement upgrades and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
• Solid understanding of HVAC equipment, control sequences, and energy management principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret system and trend data.
• Effective communication skills for documenting findings and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tempe, Maricopa County, as this is not a remote position.
