Tencent is hiring a Hunyuan AIGC Algorithm Researcher (World Model Foundation Direction) to join our on-site team in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, where you will push the frontier of generative AI and world model research.
About the Role
As a Hunyuan AIGC Algorithm Researcher at Tencent in Palo Alto, you will focus on the foundations of world models — a defining frontier in artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC). Working within Tencent's Technology Engineering Group (TEG), you will help design the algorithms and large-scale infrastructure that power the company's generative systems. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Santa Clara County.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop foundational algorithms for world models and AIGC within the Hunyuan initiative.
- Advance generative modeling techniques that scale across Tencent's networking, devices, and data center platforms.
- Collaborate with TEG engineers to translate research breakthroughs into reliable, production-ready systems.
- Contribute to the operation and optimization of the large-scale R&D and data infrastructure that supports model training.
Qualifications
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI research.
- Experience with world models, foundation models, or large-scale algorithm development.
- Ability to work on-site, full-time, in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County.
