About the Role
As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer at CUSA, LLC, you'll be the backbone of our property's daily operations. Working independently, you'll tackle a dynamic range of maintenance tasks—from emergency repairs that arise unexpectedly to planned preventative work that keeps our systems running smoothly. Your technical expertise and problem-solving ability will directly impact every guest's experience and our property's long-term condition.
What You'll Do
- Respond to and diagnose maintenance requests from guests and staff, completing repairs efficiently and professionally
- Execute quarterly preventative maintenance schedules across all building systems and guest-facing areas
- Maintain detailed work logs and track maintenance activities to ensure accountability and compliance
- Inspect and service critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Perform general repairs and troubleshoot issues independently to minimize guest disruption
- Handle emergency repairs and urgent calls to address safety concerns immediately
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, engineer, or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond to urgent issues
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in various environmental conditions
- Reliable transportation to the Memphis, DeSoto County location
- Valid driver's license
- Customer service mindset with a commitment to guest satisfaction
