About the Role
As a Home Care Aide with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll provide essential daily support to clients in their homes. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling that fits your availability while allowing you to build meaningful relationships with the individuals and families you serve.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance while respecting dietary preferences and restrictions
- Support mobility, transferring, and safe movement throughout the home
- Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with light housekeeping
- Help coordinate medication reminders and other client-specific care tasks
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and the Cornerstone Caregiving care team
What We're Looking For
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility and daily tasks
- Genuine compassion, patience, and respect for client dignity and privacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting client care schedules
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required
