About This Position
We are currently seeking a HGV II Driver to join our well-established client based in the S6 area of Sheffield. The role is full-time and non-remote, offering a 37-hour workweek with a schedule from 7am - 4pm on weekdays.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate HGV vehicles within the UK, including those with a 7.5t towing capacity
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
- Deliver goods from the Sheffield depot to various destinations within a defined route
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
What You Bring
- A valid UK driving license (Category C1)
- Driver CPC qualifications and a digital tachograph card
- Prior experience as an HGV driver, preferably in the same category or higher
- A clean criminal record as verified by a DBS check
- Pass a drug and alcohol test
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow instructions
