About the Role

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with Clean Harbors, you'll perform critical repairs and preventative maintenance on our commercial fleet. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage of $27 to $37 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. After your first 90 days, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your performance and potential wage progression.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to extend vehicle life and minimize downtime
• Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and mechanical integrity
• Document all maintenance and repair work accurately
• Identify parts failures and recommend timely replacements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems using standard tools and test equipment
• Commitment to safety standards and best practices
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license
