ALSO is looking for a Technical Program Manager responsible for driving battery modules end to end from concept/proto development phase through mass production. You will partner with product, hardware, supply chain, industrial design, and other cross-functional teams to drive product development in consumer-facing products.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll use your product development expertise to lead multi-disciplinary hardware projects from start to finish, managing battery programs across multiple product lines.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules including design, release, builds, test and make decisions to unblock development, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Drive the planning and implementation of customer features with the cross-functional teams to hit roadmap goals, tracking progress, analyzing risks, resolve execution issues and communicating status.

Develop and manage battery program schedules, technical issues, design release management, certification, manufacturing, and resource needs with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Manage communication of progress/status with stakeholders and leadership in various locations and time zones, own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams

Identify and solve the top program blockers and adapt lean processes to the organization.
What You Will Bring (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or a related engineering field

5+ years of experience in program management, product management, engineering or similar cross-functional role
-
Worked in battery hardware product development, especially through EVT, DVT, PVT phases of manufacturing ramp.

Ability to understand technical discussions and provide decision framework for continuing development.

Clear communicator – able to hold conversations with engineering and supply chain.

Ability to travel internationally as needed.
The salary for this position ranges from $180,000 – $215,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications and location.
