About the Role
As a Grocery Clerk I, you'll be the backbone of our store operations. You'll work in a fast-paced, welcoming environment where your attention to detail and customer-focused attitude directly impact how our guests experience Festival Foods. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to grow with a company that values its team members.
What You'll Do
- Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with merchandise, keeping products organized, facing, and clearly priced
- Maintain a clean and safe sales floor, including removing clutter and promptly addressing spills or hazards
- Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper placement of inventory
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to items needing reordering or promotional displays
- Assist customers with product location, recommendations, and general inquiries
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies to maintain compliance
- Support team members across departments and pitch in wherever needed during shifts
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Friendly demeanor and genuine interest in helping customers
- Reliable attendance and willingness to be a dependable team player
- Prior retail or grocery experience is a plus but not required
