Grant Competition Specialist (Surge Support)

BLH Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Grant Competition Specialist (Surge Support) in Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland to support critical federal grant administration work during peak project periods.

About the Role

This is a full-time, temporary, project-based position supporting the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in managing high-volume federal grant competitions. You'll join our team during surge periods to help process, review, and award grants in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning, development, and execution of federal grant competition cycles
• Review grant applications and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance with federal requirements
• Assist with grant award processing and management during peak activity periods
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate communication between applicants and government reviewers
• Support administrative functions essential to federal grant administration under HHS oversight

What We're Looking For

• Experience with federal grant administration, government contracting, or similar compliance-focused work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex documents and deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Familiarity with federal regulations and grant procedures preferred
• Proficiency with standard office software and document management systems
