Why we’re hiring:

  • We are hiring an Accountant Analyst to support core general accounting and reporting activities within our Finance Shared Services environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely month‑end close, while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration across Finance teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities in line with defined timelines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for internal and external audits.
  • Support financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying unusual transactions or trends.
  • Liaise with other Finance functions (PTP, OTC, Treasury, Tax) to resolve accounting issues.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ad‑hoc accounting and reporting requests as required.

Who you’ll be working with:

  • Finance Shared Services and Record‑to‑Report (RTR) teams
  • Other Finance functions, including PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax
  • Internal and external auditors
  • Finance stakeholders across the business

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or RTR role within a Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).
  • Proven experience performing intercompany reconciliations.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Maconomy, or similar).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear and professional communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under supervision, follow detailed SOPs and operate within review cycles.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
