What You'll Do
- Conduct foundational research in audio signal processing, speech recognition, and audio understanding
- Design and implement neural network architectures for audio-based machine learning tasks

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio research advances into Gemini
- Publish research findings in top-tier venues and contribute to open-source audio research tools

What We're Looking For
- PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or equivalent research experience
- Strong foundation in machine learning, with demonstrated expertise in audio processing or related domains
- Experience designing, training, and evaluating deep learning models
- Published research or significant contributions to audio or speech technology
