What You'll Do

• Greet and consult customers to understand their technology support needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Diagnose hardware and software issues on computers and consumer devices
• Perform standard repair and maintenance services, including software installation, system optimization, and virus removal
• Assist customers with device setup, data backup, and basic troubleshooting
• Collaborate with senior Geek Squad Agents on complex or escalated repair cases
• Clearly explain technical findings and next steps in plain language that customers can act on
• Maintain accurate service records and manage customer expectations around turnaround times

What We're Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for consumer technology and helping people solve tech problems
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and/or macOS), and common software applications
• Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical customers
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to escalate appropriately when a repair exceeds your current skill level
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with varied customer interactions throughout the day
