Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead or support the design, configuration, and unit testing of SAP Funds Management (FM) elements such as funds centers, commitment items, funded programs, and availability control rules
• Gather and translate business requirements into FM process designs that integrate cleanly with FI, CO, MM, and related public-sector components
• Perform funds availability checks, budget distribution analysis, and commitments review to keep organizational spending aligned with authorized resources
• Document functional specifications, configuration rationale, and test results while preparing knowledge-transfer materials suited to multi-level team handover
• Troubleshoot FM defects, resolve reconciling issues between budget and actuals, and recommend process improvements that strengthen control and reporting accuracy
• Partner with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, and authorization concepts that protect sensitive funds data
• Mentor junior practitioners or assume greater ownership as experience advances from Level I through Level IV

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain government security clearance is mandatory for this SAP Functional Analyst - Funds Management (FM) - Levels I - IV - Must be government clearance eligible posting
• Demonstrated functional expertise with the SAP Funds Management (FM) module; experience may range from foundational configuration (Level I) to end-to-end solution ownership (Level IV)
