About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager at ALDI USA, you'll partner with store leadership to oversee day-to-day operations, drive performance metrics, and build a motivated team. This full-time position offers 38 hours per week and places you at the center of store success, combining hands-on management with strategic planning.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support store associates across all departments, ensuring excellent customer service and operational standards
• Manage employee schedules, time-off requests, and staffing levels to maintain service levels and budget targets
• Monitor store performance, including sales, inventory, and financial metrics, and take action to meet or exceed goals
• Develop and implement operational action plans that address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members to build capabilities and advance careers
• Support loss prevention, food safety, and compliance initiatives to protect customers and the business
• Assist with merchandising, store maintenance, and special projects as needed

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; ALDI experience is a plus but not required
