FRYSC Coordinator located at BES/MES

Trimble County Schools is seeking a dedicated FRYSC Coordinator to join our team at Berkeley Elementary School and Middle School in Bedford, Trimble County. In this full-time position, you'll connect families with vital resources and build collaborative partnerships that strengthen our school community and support student success.

About the Role

The FRYSC Coordinator serves as the bridge between our schools and the families and community resources that support student achievement. You'll develop and nurture partnerships with local organizations, agencies, and community members to create a comprehensive support network. Your work ensures that families have access to the services and resources they need—from academic support to health and wellness programs—creating an environment where every student can thrive.

What You'll Do

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with school staff, families, and community organizations
• Organize and implement family-focused programs that address student and family needs
• Coordinate Family Resource Center activities and core components
• Connect families with community resources including health services, educational programs, and support agencies
• Facilitate communication between families and school staff to support student success
• Document and report on program activities and family engagement metrics
• Work closely with school administration to align programs with school goals and priorities

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience coordinating programs or engaging with families and communities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with diverse populations
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with community resources and social services is beneficial
