About the Role
As a Food/Consumables Team Associate at Walmart in Tallahassee, you'll work across the grocery and everyday-essentials departments, making sure products are well-organized, accurately priced, and easy for customers to find. Key Responsibilities
- Stock, rotate, and replenish food and consumable products to maintain full, shoppable shelves.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, removing items that no longer meet standards.
- Keep aisles, displays, and back-room areas clean, safe, and neatly organized.
- Assist customers by answering questions and helping them locate items.
- Support accurate pricing, signage, and inventory counts throughout your departments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily merchandising and service goals.
Qualifications
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule on-site in Tallahassee.
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to help shoppers and teammates.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior retail, grocery, or stocking experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this role ranges from $15 to $28 per hour, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the job location. Additional pay may include annual or quarterly performance incentives, and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply in specific circumstances based on factors such as schedule and facility.
