About the Role
As a Food/Consumables Team Associate at Walmart's Lees Summit location, you'll be a key part of daily store operations, ensuring that food and consumable product sections meet Walmart's standards for availability, cleanliness, and presentation. This is a full-time, on-site position with hourly compensation between $15 and $28, meeting or exceeding all applicable local minimum wage requirements. Additional pay may include quarterly or annual performance incentives, plus role- or schedule-based premium pay ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise food and consumable products across assigned departments
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully faced shelves throughout each shift
- Assist customers in locating products and answer basic department questions
- Receive and process freight deliveries accurately and efficiently
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily store goals
Qualifications
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including varied shifts as needed
- Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong team contributor
- Prior retail or grocery experience is a plus but not required
