Fleet Aircraft Mechanic

Hillsboro Aviation is hiring a full-time Fleet Aircraft Mechanic in Orenco, Washington County, to keep our diverse helicopter and airplane fleet airworthy, dependable, and mission-ready. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and a relocation stipend.

About the Role

As a Fleet Aircraft Mechanic at Hillsboro Aviation, you will perform hands-on maintenance, inspection, and repair work across our fleet of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. Working on-site in Orenco, you will help ensure every aircraft meets rigorous safety and regulatory standards before it returns to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters and airplanes within the company fleet.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and system faults, and complete timely repairs.
• Document all work accurately and maintain compliant maintenance records.
• Collaborate with the service center team and other divisions to minimize downtime and meet operational schedules.
• Uphold airworthiness, safety, and quality standards on every task.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing aircraft, ideally across both rotary- and fixed-wing platforms.
• Solid knowledge of aircraft systems, inspection procedures, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined record-keeping habits.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Orenco, Washington County (this role is not remote).
