Join Team Kia of Bend as a Flat Rate Tech and advance your career as an ASE Certified Master Technician in Central Oregon's premier Kia service facility. We're looking for a skilled technician to deliver expert automotive repair and maintenance in our Bend, Deschutes County location.
About the Role
As a Master Technician with guaranteed 80 clocked hours, you'll provide comprehensive diagnostic and repair services across our Kia vehicle lineup. This full-time position offers the earning potential and professional stability of a flat-rate compensation structure.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform major and minor repairs, including engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems
- Execute routine and preventive maintenance services to manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repairs and recommendations to customers
- Document all work accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Uphold safety standards and shop protocols at all times
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to shop quality and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- ASE Master Technician certification (required)
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing modern vehicles
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple automotive systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under flat-rate structure
