Hunt St is hiring a Philippines-based Marketing Manager to become the founding member of a Sydney property advisory firm's first in-house marketing team — a fully remote contractor role with rare ownership and autonomy.
About the Role
This Marketing Manager position is the inaugural internal marketing hire for one of Sydney's most respected property advisory businesses, a premium and distinctly Australian brand built on evidence-led thinking rather than hype. Today, marketing operates as a capable but scattered mix of external agencies; your mandate is to pull it in-house, unify it, and run it as a single connected system. Engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor through Hunt St, you'll work 100% remotely from the Philippines while aligning with Australian business hours (roughly 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM AEST, Monday to Friday). Within three to six months, the role is expected to expand into hiring and leading a growing internal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design an overarching marketing strategy and stitch every channel into one funnel — capturing and retargeting site visitors via email and newsletter, and aligning organic with paid.
- Own audience segmentation and retargeting across the full database and all platforms.
- Run lifecycle and email marketing in ActiveCampaign, including the weekly newsletter, email capture, and a new dedicated investor newsletter.
- Deploy chat automation through ManyChat across social and web to capture and convert leads.
- Manage the complete content workflow — from idea to handing raw files to editors to scheduling finished assets across podcast, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Partner with the existing virtual assistant to keep distribution smooth and consistent, and maintain multiple brand accounts in a premium, understated Australian voice.
- Hold external SEO and Google agencies accountable, oversee paid Meta activity across business divisions, and report on what genuinely drives enquiries rather than vanity metrics.
- Lead the transition from agencies to an internal team, then define, hire, and manage the people who join beneath you.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in digital marketing blending strategy with hands-on execution.
- A proven track record building marketing strategy and connecting multi-channel funnels.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, GoHighLevel, and/or ActiveCampaign for email, automation, segmentation, and retargeting (must-have).
- Experience implementing chat automation tools such as ManyChat (must-have), plus a willingness to learn new marketing technologies.
- Comfort managing high-volume content production and scheduling, and coordinating external agencies.
- Excellent written English, sharp brand-voice judgement, strong organisation, and the initiative to build process from scratch.
- A solid grasp of applying AI to marketing tasks. Property, finance, or premium-brand exposure and remote team leadership are desirable.
