The Finance Associate plays a vital role in Miami Township's administrative operations, handling day-to-day financial tasks that require precision, dependability, and strong attention to detail. You'll serve as a trusted resource across multiple departments, ensuring all financial records are maintained to the highest standards and Township operations remain fiscally sound.
What You'll Do
- Process and verify payroll records for Township employees, ensuring accurate and timely compensation
- Maintain detailed accounting records and reconcile financial transactions across departments
- Manage purchasing requests, vendor communications, and procurement documentation
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Support budget tracking and expense monitoring for various Township operations
- Assist with year-end closing procedures and financial audits
- Respond to financial inquiries from staff and coordinate with department heads
What We're Looking For
