What you’ll do:
As a Field Services Coordinator (Hybrid) your key area of responsibility will be working with a team of installation specialists to take charge of overseeing Geotab installation programs, managing projects of diverse scales from singular vehicle installations to deployments involving thousands of vehicles across European Commercial customers and Government clients. You will need to work closely with a geographically dispersed team across Europe, sales professionals, internal installers, accounting, and external third-party vendors.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-driven, meticulously organized, and dedicated individual who is a strong team-player, able to work well under pressure, and capable of responding to daily changing priorities, processes, and hard migration deadlines. In addition, the successful candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication competencies in English, strong interpersonal relationship-building skills, and technical competence using Salesforce and Google Suite.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage installation projects of various sizes and complexities and ensure deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Award projects to internal and/or third party installers; set time-line expectations and ensure they are met.
- Work with customers, sales professionals and installers to ensure installation requirements are understood, priced correctly, delivered on time and in accordance to company standards.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and installer. Resolve their issues and concerns, escalate as necessary.
- Ensure the installation guides, instructions and other important information are communicated to the installers.
- Troubleshoot challenges installers are having in the field and escalate as necessary.
- Work with installers to ensure they understand and use the Field Services department price list and tools for installation services.
- Maintain the installer network database by keeping the database current.
- Review and approve invoices and installation reports; ensure installation charges are in line with the company expectation.
- Work with installers to resolve incorrect invoices.
- Ensure the installers are paid for their services within agreed upon time period and assist installers with payment related questions.
- Work with accounting to ensure our customers are billed for on-site field services.
- Confirm the installation reports are received by the customers and installers.
- Prepare periodic Field Services status reports.
- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
What you’ll bring to this role:
- This is a 12-month contract position.
- 1 – 3 years of required previous experience managing third-party contractor relationships, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with Salesforce.
- Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in other European languages—specifically Polish, Portuguese, or French—is considered a significant advantage.
- Education: AA/AS in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience (a Diploma/Degree specialization in business administration, industrial management, or a related field is highly valued).
- Technical aptitude with the flexibility to adapt to daily changes in system processes and growing technology demands; experience within a technical/engineering organization or the high-technology industry is an asset.
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail when interacting with internal and external stakeholders, coupled with proven analytical and data decision-making capabilities.
- Highly organized, self-sufficient, and able to work independently in a distributed environment while remaining calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates local to an office hub will operate on a hybrid model (requiring 2 days a week in the office).Remote work would be considered for candidates not located near an office hub, but based in any of our European locations.
