Per Mar Security Services is hiring a Facility Security Officer in Washington, Washington County. We're seeking dedicated security professionals to join our team on a full-time basis, protecting our facilities with vigilance and professionalism.
About the Role
As a Facility Security Officer with Per Mar Security Services, you'll be the front line of security for our Washington County facility. Working in an environment that demands attention to detail and sharp situational awareness, you'll monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond promptly to any security concerns or incidents.
What You'll Do
- Monitor facility entrances, exits, and access points to control who enters and leaves the building
- Patrol assigned areas on foot, maintaining a visible security presence throughout extended shifts
- Respond immediately to security alarms, suspicious activity, and emergency situations
- Document all security-related incidents and maintain detailed security logs
- Check identification and verify credentials of all personnel and visitors
- Communicate clearly with facility staff, visitors, and emergency personnel
- Follow all company security protocols and standard operating procedures
- Report unusual activity and potential security threats to management

Position Details
Starting pay is $19.10 per hour. This full-time position includes weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, plus various additional hours throughout the week. Flexibility and willingness to work varying schedules is essential.
