About the Role
As Facilities Team Leader at Rock City Enterprises, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities maintenance crew. This hands-on leadership position requires both technical expertise and the ability to coordinate a team focused on keeping our properties and systems running smoothly. You'll balance preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and long-term facility planning while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and lead the facilities maintenance team on daily assignments and workflows
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on building systems, grounds, and equipment
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan
- Ensure all facilities meet safety standards and operational requirements
- Coordinate with building occupants and external contractors as needed
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Identify facility improvements and present recommendations to leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing or supervising a facilities maintenance team
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or building maintenance
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent repairs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
