About the Role

As an Experienced Diesel Technician - A Level, you will carry out skilled repair and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment, working under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager. This is an on-site role based in Yorktown, York County, ideal for a technician who takes pride in precision diagnostics and dependable workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment across the fleet.
• Service chassis components and refuse body systems, including control, hydraulic, and electrical functions.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air brake systems to ensure safe operation.
• Perform general engine work, from routine upkeep to more involved repairs.
• Maintain HVAC components and related systems as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks under the direction of a Lead Technician or maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as an A-Level diesel technician.
• Strong working knowledge of chassis, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Competence in general engine repair and HVAC component servicing.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision while owning the quality of your repairs.
• Commitment to safe, reliable maintenance practices.
