Prisma Health is seeking an Exercise Instructor to lead engaging fitness classes at our Springbrook wellness center. As a part-time, variable-schedule position, you'll inspire diverse members to achieve their health and wellness goals while embodying our commitment to compassionate care and making a meaningful difference.
About the Role
As an Exercise Instructor at Prisma Health, you'll design and lead dynamic, safe fitness classes tailored to members of all fitness levels. Working in our professional and welcoming wellness environment, you'll create motivating experiences that keep participants engaged, safe, and progressing toward their individual fitness goals. This is an as-needed, part-time role offering schedule flexibility.
What You'll Do
- Lead varied exercise classes in a structured, professional manner that accommodates different fitness levels and abilities
- Create and maintain a safe, effective, and motivating class environment that keeps participants engaged and returning
- Demonstrate proper exercise form and technique while providing constructive feedback to class members
- Support and actively promote the wellness center within Prisma Health and to the broader community
- Maintain professional standards in class preparation, appearance, and interpersonal interactions
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading fitness or exercise classes for groups with varying fitness backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire diverse participants
- Knowledge of exercise safety, proper form, and modifications for different ability levels
- Professional, friendly demeanor and genuine commitment to member health and wellness
- Ability to work flexible, part-time hours including potential PRN scheduling
