About the Role
As an Excavation Laborer with Roto-Rooter in Millard, Douglas County, you'll support digging, trenching, and site preparation tasks that make underground plumbing, sewer, and drain repairs possible. This is a full-time, on-site position central to keeping homes and businesses running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual excavation, trenching, and backfilling to expose and restore plumbing and sewer lines
- Prepare and clear job sites before, during, and after repair work
- Assist technicians with hauling materials, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and proper trench protocols at every worksite
- Help restore work areas to a clean, orderly condition once jobs are complete
Qualifications
- Comfortable with physically demanding, outdoor labor in varied weather conditions
- Ability to lift, dig, and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and a dependable team player
- Willingness to learn excavation and plumbing-support techniques on the job
