About the Role
As an event videographer with Shootday, you'll film at a wide variety of gatherings—from corporate functions and celebrations to weddings and branded experiences. You'll deliver raw, high-quality footage that showcases the energy and authenticity of each event. Shootday's post-production team handles editing and finishing, so you can focus on what you do best: capturing compelling visual moments as they unfold.
What You'll Do
- Film events on-location using professional video equipment, capturing multiple angles and perspectives
- Deliver raw video footage that meets technical and creative standards on schedule
- Respond to event briefs and client requirements to ensure footage aligns with project vision
- Manage equipment setup, operation, and care throughout shoots
- Coordinate with event organizers and other crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize coverage
- Maintain reliable availability for events across different times, days, and locations
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience filming live events or similar video work
- Proficiency with professional video cameras and associated gear
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Ability to adapt quickly to different venues, lighting conditions, and event dynamics
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
