About the Role
As an Entry Level Recruiter/Sales Trainee at Aerotek, you'll support our Virginia Beach team in identifying, evaluating, and placing top talent across diverse industries. This role combines recruitment fundamentals with sales development, giving you direct exposure to both candidate sourcing and client relationship building. You'll participate in a structured training program designed to build your expertise in staffing and sales from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Source and screen candidates for positions in manufacturing, logistics, construction, aviation, facilities, and maintenance sectors
- Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with client needs
- Build and maintain accurate candidate databases and recruiting pipelines
- Develop relationships with clients to identify staffing needs within your assigned accounts
- Support recruitment team members on administrative and operational tasks
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to your manager
- Follow up with candidates and clients throughout the placement process
- Learn and apply Aerotek's recruitment best practices and sales methodologies
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in building a career in recruitment or sales
- Willingness to learn and take initiative within a structured training program
- Professional demeanor with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with CRM systems and databases
