Engineer I, Mechanical Systems Technical Execution

Schneider Electric is seeking an Engineer I, Mechanical Systems Technical Execution professional to join our Morristown, Morris County office. In this full-time role, you'll take ownership of mechanical systems design and technical delivery across a range of industrial projects and market applications.

About the Role

You'll support the development and execution of mechanical systems solutions from early concept through project completion. This hands-on position gives you direct involvement in designing, building, and optimizing the structural and mechanical components that power modern industrial infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop mechanical systems, structural frames, and equipment assemblies
• Create and deliver fabricated building components and pre-fabricated systems
• Oversee technical execution and quality standards throughout project delivery
• Work collaboratively with engineering and operational teams across multiple customer engagements
• Support problem-solving and optimization of mechanical designs and manufacturing processes
• Contribute to projects spanning diverse industrial and commercial market segments

What We're Looking For

• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and structural design
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, equipment design, or fabrication processes
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, project-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
• Detail orientation and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
