Join Thrivent as an Engagement Specialist and help drive meaningful connections within our member community. This full-time position is based in the Appleton/Fox Cities area, where you'll execute member engagement initiatives and strengthen community bonds through impactful in-person events.
About the Role
As an Engagement Specialist at Thrivent, you'll be central to translating our engagement strategy into action. Working directly with the Engagement Team, you'll coordinate and deliver the programs and activities that bring our members together and reinforce our mission-driven values in the community.
What You'll Do
- Execute activity plans developed by the Thrivent Member Network (TMN) and work with the Engagement Team to deliver successful member events
- Implement communication strategies and outreach programs that drive member awareness and participation
- Manage event logistics and coordination to ensure smooth, high-impact community experiences
- Collaborate across teams to align engagement initiatives with organizational goals and member needs
- Build and nurture relationships with members and community stakeholders to strengthen engagement and gather feedback
- Support program planning and execution that advances Thrivent's commitment to financial guidance and community investment
What We're Looking For
- Must be located within driving distance of the Appleton/Fox Cities area for regular in-person work
- Strong organizational and event management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Genuine passion for member engagement and community service
- Detail-oriented approach with flexibility to support multiple initiatives
