Energy Manager (Energy Supply and Interconnection Contracts)

Meta is seeking a full-time Energy Manager specializing in Energy Supply and Interconnection Contracts to join our Global Energy Team in Tarrytown, Travis County. As a key member of our Energy Infrastructure Strategy and Investments team, you'll oversee a critical portfolio of agreements that power our data centers and facilities worldwide, ensuring compliance, optimizing financial performance, and driving strategic energy initiatives forward.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of energy procurement and grid interconnection agreements, serving as the strategic steward between Meta and our utility partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. This position combines contract management expertise with technical energy knowledge, requiring you to track obligations, monitor performance metrics, and proactively manage risks across multiple concurrent agreements.

What You'll Do

• Oversee contract lifecycle management for energy supply agreements and interconnection arrangements, ensuring compliance with all terms and regulatory requirements
• Monitor financial commitments and budget implications associated with energy contracts, tracking spend against forecasts and identifying optimization opportunities
• Coordinate with utility companies, grid operators, and internal engineering teams to resolve interconnection issues and support infrastructure deployment timelines
• Develop and maintain detailed records of contractual obligations, milestones, and performance indicators for reporting and auditing purposes
• Lead negotiations on contract amendments, renewals, and dispute resolution to protect Meta's interests and ensure favorable commercial terms
• Support strategic planning initiatives around energy sourcing, infrastructure investments, and long-term supply reliability

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in energy contracts, procurement, utility management, or related infrastructure roles
• Strong understanding of energy markets, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and grid interconnection processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts, track compliance, and communicate across technical and business stakeholders
• Proficiency with contract management tools, financial tracking systems, and data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple agreements and deadlines simultaneously
• Clear communication ability and collaborative mindset with internal teams and external partners
